Abra Tips & Tricks: Query
If you wish to look at the database itself and/or produce a quick report of data elements you select, please follow the procedure below:
- Go to Query, click New, and give the Query name
- In Step 1, select all data types. In Step 2 tab, select another Table name of your choice if needed
- Select any fields you wish to display/print such as Name, Home Address and Home Phone
- Select a Group field if you wish in Step 2 tab
- Select the field(s) to sort on in Step 3 tab
- Define the record selection criteria such as Employee Status Code exactly matches A in Step 4 tab
- Choose the format of output in Step 5 tab. If you click View Data, you will see the raw data in the order of fields selected and sorted/grouped. If you click Run Query, you will see the data formatted with proper column heading, report name and selection criteria you specified
Price Increases Effective October 1, 2009
As usual, Sage Software increases prices for all Abra HRMS modules and add-ons effective October 1. If you wish to purchase and/or add additional Abra HRMS modules, please do so before the end of September so that you could buy them at the current lower prices.
Same holds true with Abra HRMS annual support renewals. Even if Abra HRMS current annual support expires on or after October 1, you can renew them at the current lower price if you pay for them before the end of September.
Please make sure you renew the support through Usercom Systems so that you could receive the support from both Sage Software and Usercom Systems for the same price.
